The Essex White Ribbon Club

Dear Scribe Ezra,

I am writing to let you know about an exciting new initiative for Essex Royal Arch Companions and to ask for your help in sharing it with those eligible in your Chapter.

Announced by the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent at Provincial Grand Chapter, the Essex White Ribbon Club is a social club for Companions who have not yet received Provincial rank.

The Club’s aims are threefold:

●      To connect newer Companions with others across the Province;
●      To help them stay engaged with, and enthused by, the Royal Arch;
●      To support their understanding of the Royal Arch.

Several times a year we will organise social events such as museum tours, meals out, and visits to interesting Royal Arch meetings, including demonstrations of old and rarely used rituals, or Chapters that practise unusual ceremonies.   We are also working closely with the Provincial Mentoring Team, who will be running Welcome Seminars and “What Just Happened?” sessions to help newer Companions better understand the Exaltation ceremony and the Royal Arch more broadly.   There is no formal membership and no subscription fee.

 A dedicated webpage has been created where eligible Companions can sign up and view upcoming events: https://essexfreemasons.org.uk/royalarch/wrc/
Companions who attend one of our events will receive a free lapel pin to wear across the Province.

I would be grateful if you could please circulate the following message to your Companions who have not yet received Provincial rank, either verbally and/or electronically.      Sincerely and fraternally,

 E Comp Joe Doherty
